E4A’s Phoebe Spencer recently published a paper titled Re-establishing Justice as a Pillar of Ecological Economics Through Feminist Perspectives, co-authored by Patricia E. Perkins and Jon D. Erickson. The piece argues for a feminist foundation to reclaim and in return rebuild the social justice lens of Ecological Economics. The authors reviewed the influence that feminist scholarship has had on other social science fields (i.e. Anthropology, Geography, etc.), but how Economics has been somewhat immune, and, by extension, so has Ecological Economics.
